Frequently Asked Questions
Are these stackable?
Short answer: no.
Records are meant to be listened to, and if you have to lift up and set down 35 lbs of LPs to get to the other records underneath, we don't think the albums on the bottom will ever get any love.
Can't I just use {insert random object here}?
Old cardboard boxes, beat up plastic totes, paper bags from the grocery store, etc, etc, etc.
I mean... sure. You can also store a finely honed chef's knife wrapped in butcher paper. But you'll enjoy the experience more if you're pulling it from a custom leather sheath or a beautiful wooden knife block.
Honestly, no judgement here! We've used every method listed above at one point or another, that's how we know that a well-designed, intentional setup really does enhance the experience.
If you feel that a sagging particle-board bookshelf from the big-box store is good enough, that's okay. Truly.
